Watch and Listen to A train and Justa Word by The Final Tourguides. One is recorded in a studio, the other is a live recording in a small downtown cafe. Can you guess which is which?
"Happy smiles pounding down the boulevard,
Oh the clean cost of fear and clownish attitude will save us all today, as the holy cloud comes down in such a vicious horrible way, working all the while, working pressures working all the while, working all the while."
Jonathan Little wrote the lyrics to the Final Tourguides song,
A train. It's anybody's guess what he was trying to convey with these words. I, as a friend, and bandmate, couldn't tell you what it all means. I am sure that Jonathan couldn't properly explain them either. It was his way of writing, his way of expression, and probably the best way that he could empty out his brain of the verbal clutter that took up occupancy in his mind. There is more to A train, than meets the eye, and, there is more to the meaning of Jonathan Little's words too, that will leave a reader wondering, scratching their heads in amazement. What is this guy trying to say? Anyways, enjoy these 2 of a kind songs/videos by the Final Tourguides. There is possibly more to come in the near future.
