Comeback Cartoon Characters

The Final Tourguides are back.

We didn’t expect this, but surprise, surprise, surprise.

The foursome, sometimes five-some have returned. They are wiser, and hungrier than before. We are curious to see what has become of them.

We know that they are still creating music.
We know that they are still creating poetry.
We know that they are still painting with oils and acrylics.
We know that they have had relationships with others.
We know that they have traveled.
We know that they have performed in front of people.
Sometimes lots of people, sometimes only a few.

The funny thing is that they have been doing these things just as before, but this time separately. It's not that they didn't like each other, or that they didn't get along. None of that kind of stuff happened. They just divided up. Like cells, they moved around and bubbled up, touched other cells, ate some mitochondria, shook hands with a nucleus and left again.

Once in a while they met each other in a secret hideaway and tried to recapture the magic of the music they played together.
The magic was there, but it just wasn't the same. It was a different sort of magic. But that also wasn't sustainable, and reunions fizzled. Aha, but love in all quarters remains intact. As does the desire to express, and create, and to share something with others. We do know that four of the five are actively reachable, within a reasonable distance of space and time.

This comeback of the Final Tourguides in manga form is intended to entertain and encourage dreaming. There will be laughter, and song, and a round of applause from the Red House Porch crowd. Don't go away.

In time, the story will begin, as soon as the characters materialize.
Did ja like that one?
